Privacy Policy

01 Introduction & Scope

At East Mid EPC, we are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. This privacy policy sets out how we collect, process, and look after any personal data gathered from you when using our services or visiting our online booking engine.

As the fastest growing EPC Provider in the Midlands, safeguarding your information remains our top operational priority. By interacting with our online platform, booking assessments, or requesting quotas, you consent to the operations specified throughout this report.

02 Information We Collect

To complete your official property energy assessment accurately and issue valid government-registered certificates, we require specific datasets during the processing engine. This includes:

  • Property Details: Property configuration type (Flat, Bungalow, or House) used to calibrate upfront pricing scales.
  • Geographic Location: Full structural Postcodes required to confirm assessment range properties within the East Midlands region.
  • Identity Records: Your full name, direct contact phone number, and primary email address.
  • Custom Parameters: Any specific notes, structural layout comments, preferred inspection timelines, or access directions you provide inside our booking fields.

03 How We Process Your Data

Your data is never packaged or sold to third-party marketing brokers. We process personal parameters purely to fulfill our professional commitments:

  • To accurately compile fixed, transparent fee calculations matching our structural pricing guidelines (£44.99 for Flats, £59.99 for Bungalows, and £79.99 for Houses).
  • To pass mandatory geographical coordinates to our qualified, certified regional assessors so inspections can be carried out safely at your convenience.
  • To upload structural data variables directly to government registries upon final billing receipt.

04 Validity & Data Retention

As legally governed, a completed Energy Performance Certificate remains valid for a total duration of 10 years. Because of this structural framework, East Mid EPC securely archives underlying operational metadata to provide lookup references for landlords or future building purchasers over that active validation life cycle.

Please note that if you execute major structural adjustments or install efficiency systems (such as high-efficiency LED conversions or alternative heating plants) subsequent to our structural evaluation, those factors will not display inside past registry iterations until you order a brand-new assessment from our regional team.

05 Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards (MEES)

In adherence to local legislative requirements, domestic rental properties throughout the United Kingdom must satisfy strict Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards (MEES). By law, landlords must guarantee all active lets maintain an overall efficiency metric rating score of “E” or above unless an official registry exemption has been authorized.

When submitting site tracking criteria through our quote framework, our certified compliance team checks your structural parameters to ensure legal compliance and smooth verification pipelines.
